Description : |
| |
The purpose of this position is to help in
the day-to-day production support of the IO Application, which includes over
100 ORACLE tables. Support includes modifications to SQL code used to create
scripts as well as modifications to reports and tables, as required. We work
as a team, thus communications and interpersonal skills are also required.
Accountabilities: This position is responsible for: -Working on daily
production support issues which can include debugging SQL code to answer
customer questions as well as determining the cause of missing data
-Ensuring that the IO application is functioning properly and available to
the IO user community by identifying and correcting data errors.-Producing
reports as required -Working with IO developers
Experience and Qualifications Required * Coding and maintaining SQL * Coding
and maintaining PL/SQL * Knowledge of ORACLE databases - required; Knowledge
of 9i - a plus. * Creating and maintaining ORACLE objects such as stored
procedures, triggers, tables and views * Performance tuning (experience with
Explain Plan and TKPROF) * Business understanding of Trading, and Oil
Products, a plus.
