The selected candidate will manage and oversee the execution of test plans and procedures for the IRSP project. The DST is in Phase VI, Active Membership Implementation, of the Integrated Retirement Systems Project (IRSP). Online Retirement Benefits through Integrated Technology (ORBIT) is the software solution that is the end product of the IRSP. ORBIT is a multi-tiered .NET intranet/internet application using SQL Server as the database source.
The selected individual will perform the following tasks:
1) Review the Test plans, Test Cases and Traceability documentation for adherence to industry best practices and adherence to project established standards and expectations.
2) Verify and provide direction that the testing validates the business and technical requirements as agreed to by the vendor and DST.
3) Verify that the Unit Test Cases test all program logic conditions for each function/transaction and ensure that these scenarios are included in the Unit Test Plan.
4) Assist in creating test data needed to execute test case scenarios that are developed.
5) Audit the Peer Review procedures on the IRSP and develop alternate plans if required.
6) Audit the Software Configuration Management (SCM) procedures on the IRSP and develop alternate plans if required.
7) Assist to coordinate and conduct the alpha, beta, system and user acceptance testing activities |

- Verification that Test Data supports the test cases
- Validating test case scripts and their results
- Auditing peer review and software configuration management procedures |
