| |
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Collect requirements from system users, design and develop new or modified reports, forms, and interface systems (programs to enable the exchange of information between Oracle and other systems) in support of HR/Payroll, and General Ledger. Manage implementation and ensure proper testing. Execute Oracle improvement/development projects related to implementation and conduct proper testing, in conjunction with users' testing. Ensure technical problems related to Oracle updates are resolved in a timely fashion so that systems run smoothly. Ensure production problems are resolved quickly, ensuring continued accurate system operations. In concert with users and IS management, establish priorities and work sequence for development and maintenance requests. Provide technical and troubleshooting support to system users. Create, maintain and provide to users when needed technical documentation in a timely manner. Assist users with project plan development. Educate/train high-level users on developed applications on a one-on-one basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: · Bachelor's degree in math, CS, engineering or business, or equivalent experience. · Minimum of 3 years' experience in Application Development particularly with Oracle development tools (Developer 6i/2000) and PL/SQL in a Unix environment · Minimum of 2 years' development and support experience in Oracle Applications (10.7, 11.0, 11i) · 5 years' experience supporting functional areas of HR and Payroll. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills · Strong documentation skills.
