| |
The PCS group within ESTS is responsible for delivering integrated Portal, Collaboration and Search services; providing engineering and technical support for the implementation of Intel''s collaboration and web based business application computing environments. This includes engineering, system management and customer service to increase productivity, availability, security, supportability and functionality for the IT Hosting products and services based on Intel''s standards.
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Job competencies and skills:
o Experience in administering/installing/ configuring SharePoint Portal Server (SPS/WSS) in a production enterprise environment required.
o Knowledge of IIS and an understanding of basic internetworking technologies (e.g., DNS, WINS, proxies, gateways, etc.)
o System Administration: Windows OS and clustering technology, networking knowledge, IIS, SQL Server 2000 and above and SharePoint.
o High level planning of product and solution design. And engineering for products and solutions for PCS.
o Evaluations, certifications, product standards, solution engineering, and solution recommendations of hosting technologies.
o Coordinating the release of new & updated hosting capabilities, as well as vendor management.
o Provide 3rd level support services, resolve escalated trouble tickets and train all support functions (TAC, OSC, PCS Operations).
