| |
Tester responsible for all aspects of testing for a CareFirst corporate initiative that will consolidate two systems at CareFirst. Responsible areas include:
o Test case creation
o Test Script development
o Test case execution
o Following testing methodology defined by CareFirst
o Defect reporting and tracking
o Status reporting and identify risks before and during testing
o Other tasks as needed
Report to Test Manager testing progress.
Experience testing of Rules based Engine required, experience with PRPC extremely helpful
Have experience with formalized testing and System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Work independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent Written and verbal communications skill and analytical problem solving skills are needed.
Candidate should have experience testing the following types of applications: Web, Web Services, distributed applications and relation database.
Candidate should be proficient with Access, XML, XML Spy, Automated Test Tools (Mercury), Clearquest defect tracking tool, and test management (Test Director).
Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience with Unit testing, Use Acceptance Testing, Integration, Functionality testing, System, Security testing, Performance/Load testing.
Experience with testing data conversion and parallel extremely helpful.
Experience in health insurance administration with focus on sales and membership systems very helpful.
