The J2ME Developer for Network Game Platform will work as an experienced J2ME client software engineer in a team creating the platform for network games. Main Responsibility Areas Responsible for developing enterprise-level J2ME client software systems. Coaches other team members in solving engineering problems. Solves complex engineering problems in Java client domain. Participates in design and code reviews of own and related projects. May undertake technical training responsibilities. Needed Competencies and Skills: Application SW, Embedded Software, Network Services, Protocol SW, Software technology, SW Integration, SW Testing, System Design, System Integration & Verification Experience BA or BS in Engineering (or relevant experience). 2-4 years relevant experience developing network client/server software. 2-4 years Java; minimum 3 years of recent J2ME experience required. Experience working with networking protocols and environments such TCP, UDP, HTTP, SOAP. Games industry experience a strong plus |
