| |
Responsibilities:
Be an innovator and part of the core engineering team that is responsible for the full lifecycle of all the products.
Take complete ownership of one or more system components in the web tier, middle tier or database tier.
Participate with the engineering team in all activities, including architecture, design, software development, QA, performance benchmarking and optimization, as well as deployment.
Design performance benchmarks, and lead activities related to performance benchmarking and improvement.
Requirements:
Experience in building and deploying secure, scalable and fault tolerant web based applications.
Experience with one or more of the following:
Presentation layer / User Interface design and development for consumer facing applications.
E-commerce platforms such as Microsoft Commerce Server, ATG, or IBM.
Large scale database design, development and optimization (SQL Server or Oracle experience preferred).
Security for large scale web based applications and infrastructure.
High availability and fault tolerance for web based applications and infrastructure.
Performance benchmarking and tuning of large scale web applications
Consumer facing web applications.
Middle tier design and development for enterprise grade software.
Languages and frameworks: ASP.NET/C# or J2EE, Web 2.0 technologies and Web Services.
Extensive knowledge of one or more operating systems including Microsoft Windows or Linux/Unix.
BS required, MS preferred in computer science, engineering, math or science, with 1 to 5 years of experience |
