Individual should have excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business customers, as well as serve as a leader to less experienced developers on the team. The individual must be able to understand business customer requirements from the perspective of its impact to the success of the business and be able to translate them to a technical implementation. The individual must be able to perform as a leader on the team and earn the respect of the rest of the team as such. The individual must be able to interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal.
