BSA with Tivoli Work Scheduler experience for a 1 year project.
This person will be responsible for the batch scheduling done using the Tivoli Workload Scheduler product.
The candidate will be responsible for the TWS product including installations and product research, the daily batch schedule and working closely with my client's customers.
It includes working very closely with the Operations team who starts and stops jobs and schedules on a 7x24 basis.
A critical component of the work will be a shared ownership of the SLA's set forth as part of the batch processing cycle, including working with our business partners to ensure our SLA's are met on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing the usage and application of the Tivoli Workload Scheduler
· Working with the appropriate teams, establish norms for the operating environment and apply across all systems.
· Work closely with application teams to fine tune and enhance the job schedule · Teaching/mentoring operations in the daily use of the TWS tool

· Solid UNIX and Windows skills are needed
· Demonstrated experience deploying and/or supporting a scheduling system within a medium or large size batch environment
· BS or equivalent plus 5 years of current experience in scheduling systems
· Ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment supporting multiple applications across different platforms.
· Ability to build quality process controls into the daily work |
