| |
The NC State Health Plan (SHP) is seeking a short term (estimated 80 hours) contractor to create an Intranet site. The website will contain documents, graphics, training materials, daily SHP news including press clips, a Human Resources page with forms, Performance Appraisal planning, team building information and announcements. This site should continue the look, feel and have the texture of the external Internet site (www.shpnc.org).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements.
Required:
1. Minimum of 5 continuous years experience in designing static and dynamic Web pages, Web sites, and Web applications.
2. Minimum of 5 continuous years experience in Web page front-end design as well as skills in writing HTML, XHTML, and Javascript code.
3. Ability to take designs through concept, execution and published format in a relatively short time.
4. Must have a portfolio of produced websites.
5. Ability to provide transfer of knowledge in developing/designing the Intranet for the North Carolina State Health Plan Web Communications and IT team.
6. Knowledge of industry standard best practices in developing the Intranet site for SHP.
7. Experience using the following tools that are required to develop the SHP Intranet site:
- Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Adobe Illustrator CS2
- Microsoft SQL 2005
- Macromedia Studio 8
- Dreamweaver 8
- IIS 6.0
8. Experience with Microsoft IIS 6.0 and Sharepoint services
9. Excellent communication skills |
