The candidate for the N&CS Engineer ** Voice Over IP Technologies will be expected to support the current Cisco VoIP network as well as expand the services to new and existing locations. The technologies that the candidate will be expected to work with are Cisco Call Manager, Unity, Call manager Express, Unity Express, Contact Center, and other new technologies. The candidate will be expected to handle some project management responsibilities and to communicate with business units.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Listed below are some of the day-to-day responsibilities of an N&CS Engineer ** Voice over IP Technologies supporting VoIP services for Bed Bath & Beyond and affiliates.
** Manage and support current environment of 3 Call Mangers, 8 Unity Servers, 5 SRST Routers, 2 Call Manager Express Routers and 1 Unity Express Module.
** Plan conversion of Siemens digital phones to Cisco IP Phones in corporate locations.
** Design and implement VoIP solution for two new large warehouses in the New Jersey area.
** Design and implement Cisco Contact Center solution for the internal Support Center.
** Deploy VoIP gateways to other corporate locations to interface with legacy digital systems to allow for **on-net** calling.
** Create documentation for other administrators to follow for creations/deletions of phones, mailboxes, etc.
** Evaluate VoIP monitoring packages to increase monitoring of call quality, capacity, and service availability.
** Report weekly status of projects to management |
