| |
The primary function/purpose of this job.
Responsible for day-to-day management of a systems group. Participates in evaluation and prioritization of user requests. Oversees feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised programs. Assigns projects and work assignments to team members and directs activities. Ensures projects are completed within designated time frames and tracks and reports progress to upper management. Represents Information Systems in cross-functional work teams and on special projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Manages systems team in one or more sites. Works to develop employee**s skills, evaluates performance and provides feedback, and oversees resolution of employee relations issues. Monitors compliance to corporate policies and procedures. 50
2. Consults with IS and business management to provide industry standard Quality Assurance best practices throughout the QA and IS organizations. Also responsible for reporting metrics to support the added value of procedures. Responsible to coordinate all project estimates throughout the QA organization. 10
3. Works with IS Project office to prioritize requests and develop schedule for projects. Assigns, coordinates and reviews work of staff. Ensures projects are completed within designated time frames and tracks and reports progress to upper management. 10
4. Oversees formulation of detailed program specifications, coding, testing and debugging of systems applications and programming changes. Acts as liaison between business management and IS to resolve issues and monitor results. 10
