Expert level experience, including certification in IT Security (ISSO) discipline.
Ability to obtain DHS/USCIS security clearance
Initially, this will include customization of a CS-MARS management system, reviewing security logs, pushing out policies to appropriate devices, training of first and second tier engineers in relevant areas of IT Security, configuring and maintaining PIX firewalls and IDS/IPS appliances, and various reporting responsibilities.
Occasional travel to meet with the customer in the DC area, and to our datacenter in Manassas, VA will be required.
Because this is a high-level position, this person must be accountable and possess outstanding technical, project management, and leadership abilities.
This person must also have current certifications that demonstrate his or her knowledge in this field.
Strong Experience with Cisco, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP.
Tier II engineers in order to perform required IT Security tasks.
Monitor availability, performance, and resource utilization of security
components within the Center
Provide outage identification and notification per communication SLAs
Proactive alerts and notification
Notify hardware owners of equipment failure and assist in restoration
Router & Switch IOS configuration management
Network security device management (IDS/IPS, CS-MARS, PIX)
Weekly syslog review
Remote tier III support for AMOC infrastructure components
Training of Tier I and Tier II engineers in order to perform required IT Security tasks.
