| |
We have an excellent opportunity for a J2EE Designer Lead in Downtown Dallas. You will be a critical person on this and upcoming project to design the application. The development will be off shore.
This position requires:
* A minimum of 10 years of work experience with prior consulting background and offshore-onshore project experience with the last 3 years as a Development Team Lead
* Very strong experience in J2EE custom application and PL/SQL using Oracle 9i or 10G
* 8-10 years of experience in implementing data warehouse applications
* Managed and lead medium to large teams of 10-20 in size
* Experience coordinating development efforts with developers across multiple projects
* Accountable for work products and quality of work of team members
* Manages resources effective, assign tasks and work products to team members
* Has extensive experience in using Portal software (like TIBCO, WebLogic Application Server) or custom portals (using Java)
* Extensive knowledge of object oriented technologies and a solid experience in developing applications in C# and J2EE
* Thorough knowledge and experience in software development life cycle (waterfall and iterative)
* Understanding of Use Case development for Custom and package systems
* Excellent understanding of client/server and web technologies
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), client presence
* Excellent knowledge transfer skills - candidate should be able to mentor other team members in technical and functional areas
* Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
* Ability to perform under pressure in a professional manner
* Required to solve medium to complex problem solving skills. Responsible for many events simultaneously and should be comfortable multi-tasking initiatives
* Works with the Application architect in understanding the overall architecture and implementing the guidelines with his team |
