Position Description and Responsibilities:
Candidates must have at least four years of telecom experience, and excellent oral & written communications skills. Local candidates will be given hiring priority.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing complex software projects throughout all phases of the development lifecycle. This would include supporting the drill down and documentation of Business Requirements into Functional Requirements. The role reviews sponsor requests, coordinates strategic reviews, documents/evaluates business/functional requirements and gathers assessments from all impacted organizations. The project manager establishes and manages program/project schedules and provides regular status reporting, including financial statistics. This role also includes continual documentation as needed of project change controls and scope as need throughout the lifecycle. The PM must also be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with business sponsor and technical development staff.
*Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of project management experience
*PMP Certification preferred
*Self-starter and independent worker capable of leveraging other's abilities and skills to accomplish goals.
*Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
*Keen ability to effectively prioritize and multi task in a fast paced environment
*Ability to use software tools, including packages such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel, Power Point. Ability to use Visio is a plus.
