| |
Quality Assurance is responsible for the entire web infrastructure. deploy software projects and content in a fast paced, dynamic internet environment. Develops test plans, procedures and standards. Tests new and existing web applications for conformance to product specifications and standards to insure deployment readiness. Automates testing process by creatively applying scripting languages and testing tools. The full range of testing categories may include: functionality, end-user/usability, regression, data, load, performance, system availability and security. Uses the bug tracking system to log, manage, and resolve product defects and "live site" bugs.
He/she must be fully committed to understanding and improving development and testing policies and procedures. Interacts with all departments (e.g. Operations, Development, Client Services, Marketing and Business Development) to communicate and facilitate the QA process.
Requirements:
" 3+ years of internet experience in QA, programming and/or system administration
" Ability to generate SQL queries, database validations etc (Mandatory)
" Must have extensive manual experience in testing websites (Mandatory)
" Self-starter who is a quick at learning new material and concepts.
" Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance fundamentals
" Experience in Test Plan/Case development and execution
" Experience with QTP testing tool and/or scripting languages (nice to have)
" Experience in testing across various Operating Systems, applications and browsers.
" Basic understanding of underlying internet technologies and infrastructure
" Basic understanding of programming concepts and operating systems.
" Experience with Microsoft based technologies (e.g. IIS, SQL 2000).
" Some knowledge of programming concepts (e.g. ColdFusion, Flash, Java, J2EE).
