| |
II. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Receive and respond to Network tickets related to server and connectivity issues
* Lead new equipment rollouts, server and network migrations
* Communicate with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on equipment operation and other issues
* Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network hardware, servers and communication equipment
* Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user software and networking software products
* Support, guide and train help desk support staff with user support issues and tasks
* Perform on-site analysis, diagnostics, and resolutions to complex hardware problems for a variety of communication and connectivity equipment
* Configure and install new servers and associated software
* Troubleshoot and maintain existing servers and connectivity equipment
* Maintain working knowledge of networking protocols, mediums, and network systems integration
* Maintain working knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP
* Participate in **On Call** rotation
* Mentor support engineers to further their knowledge and experience.
* Good advanced troubleshooting skills along with advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange server, and Distributed File system environments
* Must be detail-oriented and have great follow-through skills while documenting tasks, tickets, and tracking activities* Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels
* Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

5+ years progressive experience in network administration

* Experience in execution of projects (deployment, migrations, connectivity planning and implementation)
* CCNA and MCSA preferred
* CCNP Certification is a plus
* MCSE Certification is a plus
* Linux experience is a plus
* Bachelor**s degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred. |
