| |
The investigation, analysis and documentation of all or part of a SAP business in terms of business functions and processes and the information they use.
The definition of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems. The creation of viable specifications in preparation for the construction of information systems.
Work with business to define business/product requirements. Must have extensive knowledge of EDI retail sector transactions, including major transactions (850, 810, 856, etc.) and X12, VICS, and EDIFACT standards.
Experience with warehouse management systems preferred. Plan and coordinate work and changes to EDI links with Retailers and with the client team as part of Global initiatives.
Perform and facilitate EDI interface development and testing implementations. Design, construct and implement EDI solutions consistent with corporate strategies.
Create and maintain context process and system diagrams. Coordinate and communicate functional requirements of biz unit and technical solutions with IT capability resources by designing and documenting basic functional specs.
Validate that the system design meets biz process requirements. Review timelines, specifications, requirements, processes, project plans, and procedures (change management, issue tracking and escalation, and status reporting) with partners and corporate team.
Perform or facilitate data mapping, test planning, testing, and results review for EDI links. Perform triage and trouble shooting activities. Perform testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts including the expected results and the validation of test results.
