This need is still very much open, please send in any candidates you can, and please note: we need someone who has "touched" trading applications (preferably Calypso, but if not then MUREX or other similar could be OK) in a financial trading floor environment (RATHER than someone who just knows the concepts, documents requirements, then passes it on).
Immediate need for Calypso contractor
Start Date -- ASAP
End Date -- long-term, into next year (3/31/08 or later)
Project Overview - ongoing enhancements and support of Calypso implementation for Derivatives trading
Location of work- Boston, MA
Role of contractor - Calypso Business Analyst (BA) and primary User Support lead, responding directly to Users (Fixed-Income and Equity Traders) for questions/issues with Calypso product. Also interfacing with users and client Business Analysts to define and document requirements for new scope
Deliverables - support issue responses, requirements documentation, Wiki updates
Skills required -
- any experience with Calypso would be a benefit, not quite a must-have but definitely a benefit
- if no experience with Calypso, candidate must at least have solid understanding of financial Derivatives products and trading
- ability to interact with fixed-income and equity traders and understand their workflow and objectives
- user support experience (quick response and real-time prioritization)
