Our client, a leader in the food distribution industry, is seeking a
SQL Server DBA to join their Los Angeles.
On a day to day basis your responsibility will be to develop and
maintain data dictionary for corporate information assets, prevent
redundant/duplicate data, approve database design, and data cleansing
rules. This individual will also be responsible for performance
through design strategies, such as stored procedures, indexing, DB
design principles, etc. This individual will be working with various
teams and departments teams to ensure performance tuning analysis,
optimization, troubleshooting, capacity planning, modeling, systems
support, etc.
To qualify for this opportunity individuals should have at least 3 yrs
of experience as a SQL Server DBA. Experience with SQL Server 2000 and
2005 is a must. This should also be experienced with database
modeling, clustering, analysis, integration and reporting services.
This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. Because this is an
immediate need for our client there will be an in person interview
