Description : |
| |
The ideal candidate for the Sr. Data Warehouse Developer role will
have the following profile:
- Seasoned database engineer who can fluidly work with a diverse team
to evolve and specify scalable, high-performance back-end database
solutions
- Has done Dimensional Modeling, created associated data warehouse
schemas and crafted processes that migrate source data
factory/warehouse data to target fact and dimension tables.
- Experienced at quickly building and deploying enterprise
production-class data backend components including databases, stored
procedures, indexes, views, constraints and scripts to install these
components into new and existing environments
- Forensics to identify, diagnose and resolve problems with backend
performance and data quality
- Hands-on work with ETL (extract-transform-load) to on-board large
data sets using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate database design
elements in dialogs with program management and other members of the
development team
- Can work with business staff to prepare and communicate logical and
dimensional data models.
