The Configuration Manager / Sr. Engineer designs, develops, upgrades, customizes, tests, implements and documents software components of the department's CM software and process.
This position will assist with the rollout and implementation of the Configuration Management.
This position is responsible for creating the code repository and working with developers to set up their individual work areas as well as to resolve potential issues.
Additionally, this position will establish the migration process and customize problem-tracking tools to meet developers' and users' needs.
This position also provides user support for tools and process.
The position is responsible for training developers and analysts on the use of the toolset as well as the Configuration Management process.
The person will also assist with the overall infrastructure of the SFT project including the development of scripts to assist the developers to manage their environment.
The Sr. Engineer will define and develop process, procedures to enhance the SFT SIR development environment.
In addition, the Sr. Engineer will be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff as well as leading development, testing and implementing efforts |
