They will be building test databases (roughly 70), loading data, database objects, etc.
Candidates must be willing to work overtime (50-65 hours/week when necessary or some nights/weekends to get the job done)
Job Description: individual will develop, implement and/or maintain SQL, PL/SQL, metadata, corporate data, logical data models and work with data analyst tools. This individual will work with users and IS management in loading and understanding data and data flows. The Data Analyst will maintain, control development, and support data and data structures across multiple platforms, technologies and computing environments. The Data Analyst will perform complex data application support, problem determination and troubleshooting tasks. This individual will be accountable for the effectiveness, quality and timeliness of project tasks and decisions.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Required Skills:** 4+ years relational database SQL and ORACLE required** 3 years of data loads and application DBA experience** 3+ years of ORACLE 10g including PL/SQL as a DBA required** 4+ years UNIX shell scripting (bourne, ksh, csh, sed, awk, etc.)** 4+ year of UNIX experience (HP preferred)** 3+ years of Microsoft Windows 2000 experience (XP a plus)** 3+ years of data modeling (ERWIN)** Large-scale enterprise software lifecycle** Billing system experience** Excellent verbal and written skills** Excellent customer presence ** Able to multi-task projects ** Able to work independently** Team oriented** Self-directed and able to perform task with minimal supervision.
He/she will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of solid, diverse work experience in data modeling, data entity analysis and logical data base design.
