Database Adminstrator/SQL
Knox Company has an immediate opening for a SQL/DBA. We are located in North Phoenix at 16th Ave. and Deer Valley Road. This is a full-time opportunity with incredible benefits.
Required Skills:
• Must be experienced/trained in SQL Server 2005.
• Experience running and supporting large scale database environments (1+ TB size) under high transaction volumes.
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting SQL Server databases
• Experience monitoring database exports, table space, and extents reports.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, upgrading database application software, completing database replication, data backup and recovery procedures.
• Experience with SQL Stored Procedures and data extraction routines to import/export data from the repositories.
• Demonstrated expertise in Query Optimization and Tuning, including cross database and cross server queries.
• Ability to configure, install, and maintain multiple database instances.
• Experience supporting clustered environments is a plus.
