Position: Cognos Administrator
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Primary Skills Required:-
Cognos RN, V 7, V 8(ReportNet, Impromptu, Powerplay, Visualizer and Access Manager modules), Unix OS platform
Secondary Skills:
HPSD, Familiarity with LDAP, SQL, Oracle, Andrew**s File System (AFS), MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, General application support background/exposure to different environments (web, client/server, NT, Unix, mainframe/green screen)
Detailed Job Description:-
As a Cognos Administrator the responsibilities of this role are:
Provide operational support for Cognos servers.(recover servers incase of any failures/shutdown)
Support migration of Cognos code (reports/models/ frameworks) from on evironment to another.
Support Cognos s/w upgrades
Use HPSD to monitor, update, track, resolve and close cases/tickets raised to request support.
