| |
Our client would like a software developer to design, modify, develop,
write and implement Java-based software applications (J2EE). The
developer will support and install these applications and participate
in the testing process through test review and analysis, test
witnessing and certification of software. The developer will be able
to communicate well and build strong relationships with various
departments and groups.
Responsibilities
*Developer will be working on various small, medium and large scaled
projects to modify a complex Web Infrastructure.
*Research code to understand how existing infrastructure works and
recommend designs to address changes.
*Document technical alternatives and recommend strategy.
*Develop changes and adhere to Design / Development review processes.
*Unit test and support code during QA testing phase.
*Provide environment support as code moves through development,
integration, acceptance and production environments.
*Communicate issues, progress and status to all levels of the
organization.
*Conform to secure coding standards.
*Provide high quality work under tight deadlines
*Have a diplomatic communication style as this person will need to
interact with many others in the organization. Ensuring that all
efforts are performed within the context of Fidelity enterprise
application and data architecture standards.
*Be involved throughout the projects lifecycle with the project team.
*Work closely with the project team to reproduce and troubleshoot
incidents.
*Work closely with the production support group during the various
test phases to the actual production install.
*Work independently and under little supervision / guidance, and take
on Technical Lead role as needed.
