| |
Provide NetBackup engineering services and support for overall
maintenance and administration of the NetBackup environment
supported by the Systems Support and Engineering team.
Main Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Systems Support team members on support,
troubleshooting and problem resolution of day to day issues.
Taking ownership of issues assigned via ticketing system
and following them through resolution. Daily phone and email
communication with the business units and other Technical teams.
Required Skills:
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 4 years systems
administration experience, with at least 2 years in a
NetBackup environment. They should be comfortable with various
versions of NetBackup software and have the understanding of
NetBackup architecture design techniques, theories,
principles and practices. Working technical experience
with designing, installing, configuring and supporting
NetBackup devices, including master servers, media servers
and tape libraries. Experience with STK tape silos/disk drives
and Veritas NetBackup systems.
