Sr System Programmer Database Sybase 6+ years
Education:
* A Related bachelor**s degree or equivalent work experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience:
* 6+ years of progressive database development experience in Sybase - developing stored procedures and complex SQL queries.
* High proficiency in T-SQL, expertise in Optimizing T-SQL queries, stored procedures and reviewing indexes to improve performance.
All the knowledge, skills and abilities of a Database System Programmer and * Expertise in assisting applications that interface with Sybase database through dynamic SQL * Mentor application developers with T_SQL queries and stored procedure best practices and reviewing of SQL code.
* Document and establish T-SQL guidelines.
The primary responsibility will be to review and fix existing stored procedures and queries from a performance perspective, as a member of the project resource pool preparing report specifications and managing the report releases |
