Description : |
| |
For this position, you will use your experience as a Software Design
Engineer in Test to provide support for the performance team in data
collection and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
Profiling the hardware and comparing resource usage results
Reviewing the automation and data collection process to
develop improvements
Implementing new tools to make the process run smoother
Assisting with automation runs, when needed
Writing new automation scripts, when needed
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years related work experience
Fundamental understanding of computer architecture
Experience with XPerf, Autobench, WTT, and ProductStudio
Knowledge of managing and configuring Windows (registry,
services, drivers, etc)
Experience with Performance testing (operating system and
applications)
Solid coding skills (C++, C#)
Experience with Windows Media Center and Extenders
Testing and hardware experience
Excellent reasoning, problem solving, and analysis skills
Solid communication and collaboration skills
Experience with ISS, web services, and web database
development is a plus
Understanding of .net application performance and
scalability is a plus
