Description : |
| |
. Design, coding and implementation of complex web based software utilizing the Microsoft Dot Net platform.
2. Responsible for reviewing requirements, analyzing the impact of the requirements on development, and bringing any resulting issues to the attention of the project manager.
3. Work with the team responsible for installing software changes. Write the release notes, monitor the installation, and check it after it has been installed.
4. Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation.
5. Design and implementation of complex stored procedures written in Microsoft SQL while ensuring that the procedure code is efficient.
6. Participate in meetings with users to demonstrate the product.
7. Help develop and follow application development standards
MANDATORY
Minimum eight years development experience in a ColdFusion 6.1 or 7.0 MX environment, Macromedia DreamWeaver MX, HTML, JavaScript; extensive knowledge of ColdFusion components.
DESIRABLE
SQL Server 2005, MS Reporting Services and full text search technology skills would be a plus.
Experience with, and strong understanding of, development principles, and techniques.
Strong understanding of web servers (IIS), application servers, and other elements of an internet/intranet infrastructure.
Experience using MS SQL Server, version 2000 or newer, and stored procedures.
Extensive experience in time-critical, real-time web applications
Experience writing user controls and server controls
Ability to work well with others in a team environment; excellent communication skills, both written and oral; high motivation level and superior attention to detail.
