Description : |
| |
Formulates, monitors and presents budgets for controlling funds. Compiles data based on statistical studies and analysis of past and current years to prepare budgets and to justify funds requested. Reviews operating budgets periodically to identify and analyze trends affecting budgetary requirements. Responsible for compiling, organizing and interpreting financial analyses and conducting financial analysis projects (e.g., capital versus expense and resource allocations).
Essential Job Duties
Contributes to the development and approval of annual corporate budget and regulatory fee filing package.
Prepares and analyzes periodic budget comparisons to actual.
Communicates results or analysis to appropriate supervisors, managers and directors.
Develops, prepares and analyzes reports comparing actual to budgeted financial results. Analyze revenue and expense trends. Monitors the budget comparisons to actual to proactively provide information and advisory analysis relating to the causes of significant variances and possible resolutions based on the analysis.
Proactively provides financial/business/policy guidance when serving as the finance representative on cross-functional teams
Demonstrates skills as a proficient user of client server financial systems, spreadsheet programs, and database programs |
