Description:
Oracle eBusiness Suite Platform Engineer - MUST have knowledge in setup, implementation and configuration of Oracle 11i.
Peoplesoft, Siebel or Oracle Portal 10g experience a huge plus.
This is an oversight role which looks at the big picture, rather than getting hands-on most of the time.
Candidate will do initial research then hand off to technical team.
Desired skills include knowledgeable and skilled in Oracle RDBMS 9 and 10g and Oracle Application Server 10g - features and components, Concurrent Managers / CRON batch processing mechanisms, patching, Integration concepts.
Other skills considered:
AutoConfig, LDAP, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Portal 10g, Cisco Load Balancing, Java JRE implementation, Oracle Real Application Clusters, Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g, Capacity Planning, Information Risk Management and Disaster Recovery.
