One of our fortune Client is looking for Siebel Administrator with the following skills:
Looking for someone with about 3-4 years of Siebel but overall 6 years of experience in release and configuration management (other platforms should be ok).
- Should be strong in admin and configuration skills
- Most important skill - Should know how to compile and deploy code
- Should have experience of handling upgrades (7.8 to 8.0 preferably)
- how to run an upgrade, code merge, unix skills, database skills .. How to run scripts
Customer Expectation
Importance
Executing all code migrations to controlled environments 9
Product upgrades, including analysis, dry-runs, TAR support 9
Creating the build plan for each instance migration and coordinating its execution 9
Application administration 8
Managing all configuration changes in a release, including facilitating Change Control calls 8
Debugging of instances for release activities 7
Verification of application/tools compatibility 7
Coordination and communication of outages 6
Coordination of instance refreshes with DBA's 6
User Access administration 6
Analyzing all patches, and coordinating with DBA's for application 5
Coordination with Infrastructure for lease replacements and upgrades 5
Password change management 5
Providing Back-end SQL access 5
Coordination of interface connections with middleware team 3
