Our client, a growing online advertising company in downtown
Manhattan, is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join their staff
on a contract to hire basis.
This person will be part of a team responsible for implementing a
high-performance, highly scalable web application. They will be
responsible for designing and coding of automated unit tests utilizing
SQL 2005, development of T-SQL, integration testing, and various other
tasks. They will interact with business units, project managers, and
engineering managers to determine reporting needs. They will create
custom reports on an ad hoc basis. They will participate in all scrum
meetings including planning, daily status, and review.
Candidates need to have at least 5-7 years of SQL database development
experience. Experience with SQL 2005, SSIS, and DTS is required.
Candidates should also have a Bachelor's degree. Experience with SQL
Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Analysis Services
would be a big plus. Experience with Extreme programming or Scrum is
preferred.
