| |
Ability to analyze data retrieved from NOC tools to facilitate troubleshooting and/or repair of network devices; communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written form; provide accurate detailed yet concise information to the Senior Manager of Network Operations in either written or verbal form; and ensure that staff members perform technical duties in accordance with their particular skill set and/or knowledge; general network architecture principles such as the OSI 7 layer model, TCP/IP, routing, bridging, etc.; configuration and management of routers and switches - Cisco, Foundry, and Cabletron/Enterasys devices; NOC tools ** HP OpenView, Ciscoworks, etc.; the ability to manage staff, competing priorities and complex situations; network infrastructure (a multi-vendor, multi-platform, complex network.); interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and management; advanced troubleshooting of networking issues; analysis of network security issues; diagnosis and reporting of overall network health and stability; supervision of others; delegation of duties; must be available 24x7x365 |
