| |
On a day to day basis, this individual will participate as a Project
Team member in providing detailed design, coding and testing for
Oracle based applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in an HP-UNIX
environment. Must also provide Technical Architecture and high-level
systems designs when needed. Adhere to departmental Software
Development Life Cycle methodology (design, code reviews, code, test,
test plans, system and support documentation, etc.)
To be qualified for this position, this candidate must have the
following:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, comparable
technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 3 years team-oriented development experience in a client
server relational database environment required
- Proficiency in server-based SQL programming and batch
development/support required
- Minimum 5 years programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL required
- Experience with HP-UNIX operating systems preferred
- Familiarity with Unix shell scripting preferred
- Familiarity with TOAD preferred
- Working knowledge or familiarity with MS SQL Server and T-SQL
preferred
- Experience with structured Software Development Life Cycle
methodology preferred
- Familiarity with ITIL framework preferred
