| |
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is an absolute required minimum with Master of Science preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience is required. We seek someone knowledgeable in:
o Experienced in high-speed electrical design and analysis techniques as applied to products built around embedded processors similar to the Intel xScale and Geode families.
o Wireless (802.11 and Bluetooth) and EMI/EMC/ESD experience is a plus.
o Knowledge of hardwire communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, etc.) is required.
o Proficiency in use of schematic capture and analysis tools is required. Familiarity with analog, digital, and firmware designs required.
o Experienced in low-power, battery-powered device and charging system design.
o Knowledge of data capture devices such as imagers (CCD /CMOS), laser scanners, magnetic swipe readers, radios, biometric devices, etc. a plus.
o Experience with integration of embedded processors, memory systems, wireless networks, display and audio systems into mobile devices.
o Experience in low-power, battery-powered device design.
o Manage resources performing PCB layout and design.
