| |
Major responsibilities include performing analysis, design, programming and testing activities for the development, maintenance and enhancements of the different components of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. This will entail:
** Conversion and migration of Crystal Report reports to Cognos 8.x and integration of migrated reports with .net applications using Cognos SDK.
** Participation in requirement meetings with end-users to understand and collect Business Intelligence (BI) report and Web content needs.
** Documentation of these requirements, resolution of ambiguities and conflicts, and gathering consensus.
** Preparation of conceptual, logical and physical design documents.
** Collaboration with other groups to design and develop new enterprise reporting solutions.
** Development of BI reports to serve the end-users.
** Tuning of the supporting queries and report build processes to improve end-user access response times.
** Design, documentation and deployment of the front-end components of analytical applications.
** Working with the Information Delivery team to provide training and support.
** Assisting in the rollout, maintenance and ongoing administration of these applications.
** Generation of reports and creating interim databases for reporting purposes
** Validating accuracy of generated report to reliable source data including variance to prior data
** Providing documentation of generated report
** Providing expertise, assistance and feedback to other departments in extracting data and creating reports and peer review reports created by other developers.
