| |
At least ten years experience within the business intelligence and data warehouse environment; in-depth knowledge and at least three years
(recent) hands-on experience with the Cognos reporting tool suite version 8 (ReportNet, Framework Manager, PPES, PowerPlay, Data Manager, Cognos Macros) as both a developer and administrator; strong knowledge of UNIX (Sun Solaris and IBM AIX) and LINUX; experience in setting up Cognos ReportNet Security; experience with ReportNet Software Development Kit (SDK) to customize reports using JAVA; knowledge of Web application server architectures and security systems administration; expert knowledge of structured query language (Oracle SQL) and PL/SQL; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills; experience in business requirements gathering; knowledge of standard system development lifecycle concepts; knowledge and understanding of relational and dimensional data models; experience with ETL Tools. Note: Fingerprinting and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; experience with IBM Websphere, HTTPServer, PeopleSoft, J2EE Technologies, and XML and HTML.
