Our customer is searching for a consultant to assist with the
implementation of the Quality Assurance effort.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this position will include working
with the QA lead as well as the team of Java developers to ensure
participation and adherence to the existing QA policy. The candidate
will also work with the business units and I.T. areas that support a
global environment to ensure all global systems fall within the QA
guidelines. A thorough understanding of Java will be critical in order
to interpret the java systems, how they interact with the QA tools,
and to verify the functionality between the systems. An additional
role for this position will be to provide guidance on instituting an
automated installation process.
To be successful in this position the candidate will have the
following skills:
In depth experience in Java development.
Significant experience coding an automated installation process
ClearCase / ClearQuest configuration
Creating interfaces in ClearQuest to support customized workflow
Additional skills that will help the candidate be successful include:
Strong communications to be able to work with a wide variety of groups
throughout the organization |
