Description : |
| |
Will be performing network administration and support activities of
current Cisco network hardware and related software. This will involve
set up / implementation, configuration, monitoring performance,
identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting / resolving issues.
Monitors all existing network services and equipment, in a proactive
manner, to ensure the network and equipment is properly configured and
performing at desired levels at all times.
Configure and manage Cisco routers, switches, ASA 5400, 3030
Concentrator, management and monitoring tools, etc.
Responsible for the configuration and support of the complete network
infrastructure.
Work closely with the Sr. Systems Administrator to maintain
communication and planning of work.
Assist in the management, administration and support of SONET Ring,
DS3 and all other voice/data telecommunications into corporate office.
Keeps abreast of new technologies and makes recommendations to
management regarding technology enhancements, which could provide cost
savings or business enhancements.
Assist in the design, project management and installation of network
and telecommunications equipment and services.
Assist in the evaluation of network and telecommunications hardware
and software targeted to meet end-user computing needs.
Assists in the maintenance and configurations of company?s network
security platform and technologies, such as firewalls, anti-virus
solutions, etc?
