DURATION:

DESCRIPTION:
•Extracting legacy data from the current Oracle 8 database in preparation for inclusion of that data into our new Data Warehouse.
•Designing, writing, testing and implementation of SQL+ and PL/SQL procedures to perform that extraction
•Designing, writing, testing and implementation of MS SQL's T-SQL code (including stored procedures) for a major IT Staffing company. The client's experience, coupled with their F.A.S.T. system (Focused-Agile-Streamlined-Talented) has helped them to become a national leader in the areas of IT staffing, outsourcing and vendor management.
•To place that newly extracted data into the Data Warehouse.
•Assist in the implementation of a data warehouse and reporting toolset.
•Possibly support existing data analysis and sales/financial reporting systems and requirements.
•Possibly design, develop, & implement new Business Intelligence applications to help make faster and better business decisions.
Skills (required to perform position):
•Strong Oracle SQL+ and PL/SQL programming and debugging skills, ideally against the Oracle 8 database.
•Comprehensive understanding of MS SQL Server database design & development required.
•Strong Microsoft Windows Forms and ASP.NET development experience using Visual Studio and the .NET Framework is required.
•Experience using Visual Studio Tools for Microsoft Office would be ideal.
•Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and Integration Services would be ideal.
•Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence would be ideal.
•Strong interpersonal, communication are important.
