1 Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP), Database version 9i or higher.
2 Two (2) years experience configuring Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) version 10.2. Experience must include configuring RMAN for online and offline backups,
Utilizing the RMAN catalog and performing recoveries.
3 Three (3) years experience in Oracle Database performance tuning for PeopleSoft HRMS. Experience must include SQL statement tuning, using explain plan, hints, SQL profiler, cost-based optimizer tuning, as well as PL/SQL code debugging. Experience must include identifying and analyzing Oracle processes associated with PeopleSoft 8 and 9 software (with Oracle versions 9.2, 10.1 and 10.2), including process scheduler, web server and application server.
4 Three (3) years experience in Oracle Database performance tuning for PeopleSoft Financials. Experience must include SQL statement tuning, using explain plan, hints, SQL profiler, cost-based optimizer tuning, as well as PL/SQL code debugging. Experience must include identifying and analyzing Oracle processes associated with PeopleSoft 8 and 9 software (with Oracle versions 9.2, 10.1 and 10.2), including process scheduler, web server and application server.
5 Three (3) years experience writing Unix shell scripts (Solaris environment) to automate database administration and PeopleSoft administration jobs, including scripts for database creation, statistics gathering and security administration.
6 Three (3) years experience tracking, evaluating, downloading and installing Oracle Server Software releases on a Solaris platform. Experience must include fresh installs as well as upgrades.
7 Sun certification as a Systems Administrator.
8 Two (2) years experience analyzing, downloading and installing Oracle Quarterly Security Patches on a Solaris platform. Experience must include patches for: database server, application server, EM grid control and OID.
