This person will be responsible for all the programming and
development of a new database for the client. They currently have a
DOS system that retains all of their information. They are currently
implementing SQL server and c++ to transfer the data to the new
database.
.NET will be on the front end and will be vital to capture all the
data transfer. They have new DELL servers and have the space for the
new system.
This person initially needs to be able to assess the current
environment and make sure that it is ready for this transition, and
prepare a game plan to start the process. If not, this person needs to
be able to recommend how and what to do.
The whole process needs to be documented from start to finish, so
strong documentation skills are a must.
