| |
The Lead Business Analyst (BA) will perform business analysis within Credit Derivatives IT for projects and business-as-usual development with global scope. Responsibilities will include analysing credit-derivatives requirements of Front-office, Product Control, Finance, Risk Management, and Operations, documenting them, and liaising with Credit Derivatives IT managers and developers to implement solutions. The role will involve extensive liaising across business functions in all regions to ensure coordinated project development and implementation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Manage, mentoring and develop a small team of analysts (1-2 analysts)
Interview Traders, Product Controllers, Risk Managers, and Operations staff to understand and document business requirements and functional specifications for new credit-derivatives projects
Develop, document, and analyze *as is* and *to be* process flows covering all the functionality to satisfy business requirements
Analyse systems and data to identify functionality gaps
Liaise with developers and users to clarify specifications as necessary
Identify and resolve (or maintain accountability for ensuring the resolution of) issues identified during all phases of projects
Manage deliverables within agreed timeframes and report progress regularly to management
Develop test plans, conduct testing, and manage testing by other groups
Formulate project plans including staffing, analysis, development, testing and implementation
Liaise with other IT & business groups and project managers to ensure coordination of projects affecting other functional areas.
Maintain a *big-picture* view of the direction of development, factoring in a vision of the overall strategic firm-wide architecture
Contribute to process re-engineering and improvement |
