| |
Evaluate customer needs in designing LAN, WAN and other network communications solutions departments and external customers.
Design and develop integration strategies for technologies, networks, and systems.
Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation.
Manage projects, collect, analyze and summarize project information
Lead project teams and act as management recognized technical lead or subject matter expert on specific projects and technologies.
Analyze and recommend upgrade/expansion strategies, perform network modeling.
Design, implement, and support security systems to protect county computer resources, users, and customer from unauthorized access.
Design and implement office moves, fiber and cable installations, and network infrastructure for new and remodeled facilities.
Perform needs analysis, consultation and design, provide recommendations and implementation.
Participate in the development of network standards and procedures.
Oversee the work of contractors and consultants, as needed.
Perform network performances and traffic analysis, forecasting, capacity planning and provisioning
