As a senior software developer:
Work closely with the development managers and coworkers to define product functionality and deliver cutting-edge product break throughs
Take a hands-on approach while defining application architecture, development process and tools
Participate in all phases of the development and test process
Experience and Skills
Overall Technical
A bachelors degree in computer science or management information system from an accredited four-year college or university
Experience in making positive contributions in a team environment
A diligent work ethic and the discipline to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate solutions to our internal customers and our agent partners
Specific Technical Skill Sets With Open Systems (potentially separate contractor(s) from Mainframe skill set)
Fluency in the Java or C# language and the associated platform (J2EE, .Net, both)
Experience with application frameworks such as Spring, Struts and Ruby on Rails
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or 2005, including extensive SQL query experience and stored procedures development
