This contractor job role will be mainly focus on NetAdmin/SysAdmin type of function to support cross-functional global teams.
This candidate will be responsible for Network/Application related troubleshooting for global solution and work with both Network Engineers and Application-Solution Developers to build solutions.
Here are some of the detail descriptions on the day-to-day function for this job role.
- Setup, configure, administer all equipment in the lab, including servers, switches, load-balancers, Integrated Service Routers, Pmode, etc.
- Perform system administration on all servers, Linux/Windows/Solaris/HP/AIX, including install, maintenance, upgrade of tools, infrastructure and application software
+ Tools such as ssh, vnc, ftp, ntp, gateway, proxy, etc.
+ Infrastructure such as Apache web server, Tomcat, Jboss, Oracle, Oracle Clusters, JMS (TIBCO EMS, MQ),
+ Application software such as sample test applications, load generators, simulators
+ Ability to troubleshoot IP related connectivity issues related to L2/L3
+ Basic knowledge of Network security, firewall, access list setup related to Network access control.
