At least 5 years programming in RPG III and IV, ILE, XML, SQL, and CL
Demonstrated experience working with FTP, sub-file processing, stored procedures, database triggers, linking/binding in ILE, Sequel, Query, and embedded SQL
Build online applications, complex integrations, batch processing, and back-end databases using primarily CL, a variety of RPG versions, and XML
Sound working knowledge of iSeries communications between multiple platforms
Technical knowledge of, and practical problem-solving skills related to AS/400 application development and systems maintenance
Successfully demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical systems in a decentralized systems architecture
Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to interpret existing programs and trouble shoot
Strong critical thinking skills
Analytical approach with a strong ability to uncover and resolve problems permanently
Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus
