Role: Informix DBA
Location: S.Brunswick, NJ

Job Description:
Informix Database Administrator needed to support Production and test systems
6+ years as a Informix DBA
Must communicate effectively (both verbal and oral).
Motivated
Consulting experience
Informix experience with versions 7 through 10
Deployment and upgrade of engine & clients
Backup recovery
Problem determination and resolution
Performance, scalability and tuning
Assisting and guiding developers with any issues
UNIX is required, AIX a plus
On-call support and regularly scheduled production installs
Experience with large corporate business environments
Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Coordinate database system upgrades with IT staff, end users and vendors.
Develop, publish and maintain database operations manual under revision control.
Maintain documentation related to database development platform guidelines, methods and standards
